Finally after a long journey, I find few pcs of DPDT switch with center off. You might be asking why we should have a center off switch? Probably not everyone needs this kind of switch. One application crosses my mind is to measure stereo channel bias with single bias meter only. Probably due to safety and durability issue, you will not measure your bias all the time you use your system. So with this switch, you can always switch left or right to measure respective channel and put back to the center to turn the measurement off.

And this Nittei Musen brand has been in this industry more than half century ago… Welcome to the 21st century!

Still remember the Extreme Capacitor Battle article? Well, it’s not done yet, but we are very close on it. The break-in session has reached around 180++ hours. I can feel the characteristic from each capacitor.

To simplify (and easier) comparison session, I have prepared two ELMA switch (2 poles, 6 positions). You can see the photo below.

You might ask, why do I need two pieces of this ELMA? One should be sufficient, right? Keep reading. As you may also notice that I have a “bad habit” as a perfectionist, so this is still related with it ;)
