Hi Didi,
If you have only 1 amp inside, outputted to two speaker (dual mono), then I dont think you have better option then buying a new speakers.

Hi,… Jimmy i got some problem here,…
I’ve buy a new cheapest 2.1 speaker here from Computer Shop, before I buy, we test at the shop the speaker’s ok,.. but when i’m home i just reliaze that sound only play mono mode when i plug it to my PC (playing the similar sound on Left and Right speaker),… then I open the speaker and saw it really only 2 wire input direction on the speaker amp board suppose to be there got (3)three wired in, how would i change it to Stereo, reply me,.. sorry for my bad English,…. i’ll post the image of my speaker soon,….

saya pake simbadda cst z100 2.1
cuman suara dari subwoofernya hilang,cuma keluar di speaker satelite-nya saja.tak bongkar dalamnya ternyata pake dua ic 2025B.masalahnya kalo volume di besarkan kadang sub langsung bunyi,tapi kayak kluar noise di suaranya(kemrosok),.Apa bisa jadi ada caps yang perlu diganti??kalo ada di bagian mana??mohon bantuannya..

just wanna share my work.

i’ve changed the c6/c7 with muse kz470/25, c10/c11 with elna cerafine 100uf/25, unnamed cap with muse kz1000/25, and c8 with muse kz100/25…

i cant find a good cheap audio cap for c1/c2, so i replace it with sanyo oscon 1/50 (assuming its a better cap than the stock..)
total cost is about $6

im a total noob about this thing, but i really can hear the differences.. a good differences..

thx a lot sir for the knowledge share.. im happy with my speaker now..

for first step i want to change C6 and C7 to elna cerafine 470uf 25v (got from my friend), is it noticeable?

Hi Rusty,
If you dont have the schematic, you must trace yourself inside the circuit. Then, check the rating of the original capacitor. Finally, decide what to upgrade and upgrade to what.

I love your work….It inspires me greatly!!….

I was wondering if I could have your insight on a project I want to do.

I have a pair of AudioSource 5.3A monoblock amps that I would like to upgrade the coupling capacitors on. I have e-mailed the manufacturer requesting a schematic but received no answer. I have read elsewhere on the internet that they don’t release schmatics of their products.

Could you give me some tips on how to determine which of the capacitors are the coupling caps?….Also, any recomendations on possible replacements would be greatly appreciated…

Hi! I found that same TEA2025B from Creative SBS15 active speakers. I modded that amplifier circuit with KME and Rubycon caps, 1000 uF and 1500 uF. I am driving my Sennheiser HD 201 headphones with it. It sounds like the bass would be more stronger now. Next project is Cmoy headphone amp.

here the C7 and the same on the other side is replaced with Rubycon 1500 uF
I am not sure if they are balanced now.

Mr. Auw, First off Thankyou. Just getting my feel wet in electronics. Im greatfull for stumbling opon your mod/site, just wanted
to know if you ever could recomend any tips, technics, reffrenc, etc. one needs to have to be proficent in the world i would greatly apreciate it. I have limited knowladge in microscopy be a field tech. for a local microscope dealer but would offer any help in return.
