Power supply is one of the most important part in your system. Imagine “electricity” as “food” for your system. Good food = good healty = good quality. So, electrical cable is important in you audio system to.

I just got this trick few years ago from my friend. He offered me a power supply cable with ferrite clamp on one side of the connector. Since that was cheap, so I grab some. Within next few days, I built a power supply for my D/A. I upgraded the cable with this “ferrite clamped power supply cable”. Well, the sound became warmer, less bright, and better separation.

Also you can have a ferrite beads and wind your power supply cable few times in and out of the ring. You can try for signal cable to, give it a try! Fell yourself the improvements!

Actually I still confused about this ferrid. How does it works? It applied to almost any device these day. I really can imagine, honestly, I even can hear the difference when using or not using it in my signal or power cable.

Try to search a topic about “RF” and “Ferrite beads”. Basically the function is to filter the high frequency noise. But for a deeper explanation, you better search around with Google.
    Thanks.
